How we work

For a foreign investor, the process begins with goal analysis and selecting the appropriate company type. The required steps before the notary, MERSİS, trade registry, and tax office are then carried out; bank accounts, electronic signatures, and commercial books are opened. To preserve the partnership relationship, alongside the articles of association, a shareholders' agreement clearly regulating governance rights and exit scenarios is advised. If a dispute arises, mediation and negotiation come first; failing that, commercial litigation or arbitration is pursued.

Frequently asked questions

Must a foreign investor have a Turkish partner to form a company?+
No. A foreign individual or legal entity may incorporate a company in Turkey as the sole 100% shareholder. There is no Turkish-partner or local-manager requirement.
Should I choose a limited liability or a joint-stock company?+
Limited liability companies suit small-to-medium structures with flexible management; joint-stock companies are preferred where higher capital, ease of share transfer, and IPO potential matter. The decision depends on tax impact and long-term strategy.
A lawsuit has been filed abroad against my company in Turkey — what to do?+
The forum and applicable law are critical. The contractual jurisdiction or arbitration clause is reviewed. Preparation for any subsequent enforcement stage in Turkey is also necessary.
